So, I'm sure most of you have heard about Thomas Beattie, the transgender male who is married and is also 6 months pregnant. It really is an amazing story and isn't all that shocking to me, considering what leaps and bounds science has made over the years. These two people are really in love and ironically, the "woman" in the relationship can no longer have children (after having 2 from a previous marriage) so her husband, who still has woman reproduction organs, is carrying their child. Below is some video from Oprah's show yesterday, where Thomas explains how he's growing and can no longer wear his typical jeans and tshirts since they don't make MANternity Clothes. Hasn't he heard of Big N Tall or MuMu's or sweats? What did Roseanne Barr do when she was pregnant? I mean, Thomas looks like your ordinary beer gut dude who could just use a few days a week on the treadmill. Instead, it's obvious he's not into the way his body is changing and can't wait to get back into a pair of size 29 jeans.

So we have been covering this story from a medical prespective. And what I don't understand is if you wanted to be a MAN so bad, far enough to chop your boobies off, and take so much hormones that your clit turns into a cocktail weiner... why would you want to become a MOTHER? I respect their decision to have a baby, everyone has the right to be happy and live their own live, but this is a little fishy, like they are looking for the publicity, the money, etc. Hey JLo got what like 6 million dollars for her baby's pictures.. how much with this "guy" get?
